2008 Conference Highlights

General Sessions

During the general sessions families were drawn together and encouraged in family unity. Dynamic speakers and powerful messages were used to speak into lives and change hearts. The time of prayer and annointing at the end of the sessions filled the arena with a feeling of revernce and holiness.

Fathers Sessions

The powerful impact of prayer and annointing with oil from the family sessions poured into the early morning fathers sessions. Fathers from all over the nation joined together for a time of worship and prayer.

Student Sessions

During the student sessions, students were able to participate in and be encouraged by the following sessions:
  • A whole new look at the principles of a successful marriage
  • How to be the successful person you really want to be
  • Three overlooked secrets to a dynamic life
  • Preparing powerful answers for perplexing questions

Music Ministry

Families, individuals and students combined talent and skill to bring encouragement through the ministry of music.

ALERT Cadets

The ALERT Cadet Challenge was an action-packed program filled with spiritual, mental, and physical challenges for young men. The three-day event was designed to impart a vision for service to each young man and to challenge him to develop a heart fully committed to Christ.

COMMIT

COMMIT provided an oasis for young ladies to pursue a relationship with Christ, gain vision for a life calling, and build family relationships. This program featured dynamic group sessions, focused small groups, and fun activities, all designed to inspire young women.

Children's Institute

In the Children’s Institute, children were taught to accept God’s design for their lives, to cheerfully obey parents and God-given authorities, and to become truly successful by memorizing Scripture. The children received sashes with character buttons, activity books for coloring, and participated in crafts that illustrated the concepts covered throughout the conference.

Pre-EXCEL

Pre-EXCEL was an fun-filled program geared toward teaching discipline to young girls by the Godly example of young ladies who have been through the EXCEL program. The theme for the 2008 program was “The Great Works of a Daughter.”
