ALERT Cadets
a focus on fathers and sons
In 1997, the ALERT program branched out to establish the ALERT Cadet program with the goal of assisting fathers and sons in building strong relationships and developing personal disciplines.
The ALERT Cadet program is designed to “turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers,” (Malachi 4:6) and can be used as a tool for fathers who seek to win and keep the hearts of their sons, ages 8–17. With God’s help, this goal is achieved through the quality time that fathers and sons spend together as they complete Cadet handbook projects, memorize Scripture, and participate in Cadet sponsored activities. Participants will be challenged to develop the skills of serving others and of effective leadership.
