Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Course
a Telos course to equip care-givers
As today’s medical needs rise, there is an urgent need for dependable bedside nursing care. Most bedside care in hospitals, home health care, and long-term care facilities is provided by a certified nursing aide or assistant (CNA). A CNA is a valuable member of the health care team, and the in-demand profession is predicted to be one of the fastest growing fields in upcoming years.
The training and certification students acquire through the CNA course will prepare them to enter the world of health care and get a head start on nursing studies. Their skills will also serve them throughout a lifetime of caring for their own sick children, for elderly parents, or for members of their local church body.
CNA students will receive classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience in local long-term care facilities under the supervision of our experienced Christian nurses/instructors. The Telos Institute International is approved by the State of Indiana Department of Health’s Division of Long-Term Care to offer certified nursing assistant training.
Please note: Applications for students who will be under 18 on the starting date of the course cannot be accepted after September 12, 2011. Class size is limited to 8 students, so you should act now to ensure a place in the class. Application forms and additional information are available on the Telos CNA Course page.
