Q: How many nights does the room and board expense include?

A: The cost for room and board includes arriving as early as the Friday evening before the class begins and staying as late as the Saturday morning after the class ends.

Q: Will I need to bring a computer?

A: No, a computer is provided for each student.

Q: What is the daily schedule?

A: Students join the staff at 7:15 a.m. for breakfast and discussion of what they have learned in their morning quiet times.

Following breakfast, students are required to attend chapel at 7:45. Classroom instruction will commence at the end of chapel and continue until noon, when the DTP group breaks for lunch. Directly after lunch, class resumes.

After dinner, which is held at 5:30 p.m., the evening is usually reserved for completing course assignments.

Q: What are the weekends like?

A: On Sundays, students are required to attend the church that all Verity students and staff attend. Afternoons provide time to rest, call home, or spend additional time with the Lord.

Q: Will I have a roommate?

A: Yes. Students room with up to 3 other DTP students. Often lasting friendships are developed through this time, and many students stay in contact with their DTP classmates for years to come.

Q: Is transportation available from the airport?

A: Yes. Verity Institute has a transportation department that coordinates the pickup of arrivals at the airport or bus stations. The charge for airport pickups is $10 each way.
