“Looking back on my time in Advanced EXCEL, I remember the enthusiasm of the Godly women who were our instructors, and the spiritual insights they shared from their own lives. Many of the projects and assignments focused on areas I knew I wanted to develop or were things I wanted to learn to do, but until I attended Advanced EXCEL, I had not had the motivation to get started. Beyond this, though, the Lord used Advanced EXCEL to give me a vision for discipleship and the tools to carry it out. Through being discipled, or mentored, by older women, I not only gained the desire to invest in other young ladies’ lives, but also learned practical steps toward encouraging others in Christlikeness.”
