Southeast Asia Ministry

Ministry Overview
Inspired by the example of ATI students who traveled around the world to teach Children’s Institutes, parents began to inquire about implementing the ATI program in their homes. As a result, ATI was established in Singapore and Malaysia, and it continues to grow. In September 2003, almost five hundred people attended the annual ATI Training Conference held in the region.
Additionally, the Education Ministry of Singapore took an interest in promoting character in their schools. As a result, character curriculum representatives have traveled to Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia to train thousands of public school teachers in creative ways of teaching children about the importance of demonstrating character.
Today the work in Southeast Asia continues to experience blessing and growth as other countries, such as Thailand and Cambodia, look to the IBLP ministry and the example of outstanding young people to bring a practical message of hope to their people.
