“Taking the TESOL course was like the opening of a door. It gave me insight into a world I wanted to explore, and showed me what the true goals of teaching English ought to be! I was provided with resources and information to build upon, as well as different tools and methods best suited for teaching various age groups. It prepared me for numerous situations and gave me the groundwork for flexibility. The assignments were carefully designed to improve our newfound skills and to sharpen our effectiveness. Our teacher was patient, precise and proficient. An ideal instructor. She was very encouraging and taught us how to form realistic expectations.
