If my parents don’t care what I do, how can I honor their authority?

Answer

There are reasons why a parent has ceased caring about what his child does. In most cases, the child has had a strong will and rebelled against his parents. At some point, the parents just decided to stop arguing with him and gave up.

When a young person dedicates his life to the Lord, clears his conscience with his parents, and submits himself to their authority, he will usually see a gradual or a dramatic change in their concern about what he does.
