Meet the Dauer Family

For many years, Monte and Marci Dauer were deeply involved in the deceptive teachings of the New Age movement. They tried just about everything money could buy in an attempt to find God. By His grace and unmerited love, the Lord miraculously delivered them out of spiritual darkness and brought them into the light of His truth in 1983.

Monte and Marci have five children—two who are adopted and one who is a reversal baby—and thirteen grandchildren. They will be quick to tell you that God’s mercy is evident in their marriage, allowing them to delight in each other and minister as one to others.

Monte and Marci are learning to daily seek the Lord with fresh and genuine zeal, realizing that their hope and trust must be in Him to meet the challenges of day-to-day living. They would be the first to tell you that they have not arrived, but they are following the Lord and prayerfully determined to stay on His path. With Him, they conclude, they can’t go wrong!

God has allowed them to minister to the Body of Christ in their home in San Jose, California, and abroad. They host the Financial Freedom Seminar and Commands of Christ seminars in their home, and have traveled to China, India, Mexico, Turkey, and Argentina on short-term ministry trips. While continuing to seek God’s face for their daily needs, the Dauers are eager to share the work that God has done in their lives, whether through e-mail correspondence, small group discipleship, or other avenues of ministry.
